In Portuguese Language, the word "Planta" has two meanings: to say what we have decided to do and how we are going to do something (the plan for my new house is finished). Also, we can use the same word to designate anything that grows from the ground, such as bamboo, cactus, grass, moss, etc.
On the other hand, in English Language we have two differents words to say both ideas. "Plant" is used to designate anything that grows from the ground; and "Plan" to say what we have decided to do and how we are going to do something.
